This is a scene of the trees behind my school done with pastel on paper.
 I learned how to blend pastel by moving it with other pieces, and how to really fill the plane.
The art elements depicted are asymmetry, light, and perspective.
To me, in conveys kind of a melancholy feel, it's both the coming of grey clouds and rainy days, but at the same time, it's kind of menacing, and there is dark shadowy colors.

This picture is called face drawing #1. It is a drawing of a random face that i came up with in my head. I learned how to proportionize my head so that my eyes are in the middle and my nose and mouth look proportional to where the point of where my eyes are. I also learned how to make the face in a shape and the right size for the type of face that i am drawing. I also learned how to add detail to my drawing such as facial hair, eye lashes and many other various subjects. I still believe the most important thing i learned to how to correctly proportion my face of my eyes are in the middle and my nose and mouth are near the bottom of the face.
